Metal Prep Service, Inc. specializes in powder coating, therefore, we have the right equipment for the job.  Many so called powder coat shops use small "kitchen grade" ovens to bake their parts and hobby grade powder coating guns to shoot there powder.  This causes all sorts of problems from contamination of the finish, inconsistent powder coverage, to improper curing.  Metal Prep has a 25x25 foot powder coating booth and a professional grade 16x8x8 foot powder coating oven.   We also sand blast nearly everything we powder coat in our HEPA filtered 21x15x12 foot sand and soda blasting room, insuring the best blasted finish to start the powder coating process.

Automotive Powder Coating is the heart of Metal Prep Services, Inc. powder coating division.  We have powder coated parts on all makes and models, from the Chevrolet Chevelle to the Karmann Ghia all the way back to the famous 1930's twelve cylinder Packard cars.  Because we are a custom shop you can be sure that your parts will leave our shop with a show winning finish.

 

• Tractor & Farm Equipment Powder Coating:

 

Based in the heartland of America, Metal Prep Services, Inc., powder coats a lot of tractors, tractor parts, and farm equipment.  Powder coat is popular with the farm community because of powder coatings excellent durability and coverage.  Unlike paint, powder coat when shot correctly is able to get inside the hard to reach areas of cultivators, tractors, and other farm equipment without creating runs or lite spots.
